Julius entered the arena, his customized Xeno at the ready, his custom beam saber and Iron shield at the ready. His Gleaming metalic paint job shined in the sun, as he readied himself for combat at the edge of the arena.

The long moments of silence were finally broken as Cypher's consciousness awoke within the giant metallic body of his Genoace. This duel was unlike any other he had fought in and this fact was further made obvious by all the roaring cheers going on in the arena outside his mobile suit waiting room.
The harsh light of the fighting area flooded his optics as the dry, heated air blasted in and past his mobile suit bringing some of the dust and dirt that made up the arena floor in with it. He stood there for a moment, taking it all in before he finally began to step forward into the main arena area. He could hear the voices of the fans all around him shouting and chanting both his name and the name of the pilot he would be facing off against.
Scanning the crowd, he could see that there were men, women, and children all gathered together and behaving as they would if they were at some major sporting event. This didn't surprise Cypher in the least though. In this day and age, mobile suit battles were the new popular 'sporting' events everyone came to see. It did confuse him a bit though, seeing that they probably saw such things in the news when reports of recent mobile suit battles were made.
Turning his attention back to his opponent for this round, memories of his first time in this arena were recalled and he couldn't help but notice how much he's changed since then. Back then he was so rigid, calculating, and mechanical. Very robot like. However, due to his time with the humans and the relationships he made with some of them, he found that his programming had adapted and made him seem more human in his speech patterns, his mannerisms, and in the way he behaved.

Julius saluted with his beam saber towards his oponent, and bowed his mobile suit as much as he could.
"Welcome to the arena my oponent. Let us make this a battle to be remembered, both by our audience, and by ourselves."
Julius raises his suit to errect status, and brings up his round shield to combat ready. Raising up his beam saber, he waits for his oponent to make the first action.

Drawing both his own beamsabers reverse-handed, Cypher held them both flush against his mobile suit's wrists leaving them inactive for the moment. He did, however, take the initiative by launching all twenty of his machinegun bits, dividing them into four groups of five. He sent two groups of five to attack the enemy Xeno from both the top and the rear while commanding the other two groupings to begin to orbit his unit in two different orbits.
Hoping to completely overwhelm his opponent, Cypher's plan was to make this duel as short and as simple as possible.

Julius simply smiles at Cypher's use of bits.
"My my, a bit user, interesting. Too bad Janus won't get the chance to fight him, she would have been interested."
With a slight shake of his head, Julius raises his shield up and takes the brunt of the attacks, before boosting forwards towards Cypher, out of the ring of Bits, quickly leaving them behing
"The problem with your bits is, they are too slow to keep up with a fast unit like mine."
And with that, Julus raises his beam saber, and swings at Cypher, putting a single bit between him and his oponent, swinging for both at the same time.

If Cypher could grin, he would be doing so from ear to ear right now.
The enemy practically ignored his bits completely, instead focusing on rushing him and attacking him directly. Just what Cypher wanted him to do.
Commanding his bits to scatter and to surround the enemy Xeno, Cypher raised both his beamsabers up and quickly activated them to form an X in front of him, blocking the opponent's own beamsaber, causing all three to lock.
Taking aim with his shoulder mounted Vulcan Cannons and with the bits he had surrounding the Xeno opposing him, he opened direct fire with all of them on his hopefully helpless arena victim.

Julius's shield blocks the shoulder Vulcans easily, but the shots from the bits do a bit of dammage to the unit. Julius Pulls his Unit's head back, and proceeds to try and Head but his oponent with the spike on the top of his unit's head, reinforced for this kind of situation.

Noticing the enemy rear his head back for a headbutt, Cypher boosts forward with his thrusters to knock the opponent off balance and tilts his head to the right in an attempt to reduce the amount of damage his head would take from the horn.
The horn gouged against the side of his Genoace's head, leaving a deep scar, but otherwise doing little harm to the head's critical systems. Continuing to push forward on his thrusters, Cypher intended to ram the enemy's backside into the wall of the arena before backing off to fire his shoulder mounted beam cannon, now better than half charged, at the soon to be disoriented pilot.
((Cypher isn't firing his beam cannon this turn, but he does plan to do so next turn. Right now though, he's working on pushing the Xeno into the arena wall.))

Julius's unit looses it's ballance a bit, but using his thrusters, Julius brings it back up quickly, using his flight thrusters to boost him into the air a bit, though not high enough to cause him to be removed from the competition. Making a quick decission, Julius pulls out his second modifed beam saber, and second shield. This fight would have to be taken up a notch. Turning his mobile suit so that he gave his oponent a smaller target, raises his shield, and two beam sabers, and swings both directly at Cypher's Genoace.

Raising one of his beamsabers up to meet the the two the enemy Xeno attempted to bring down on him, Cypher couldn't help but notice that the opponent had turned to present a smaller target for him. "A smaller target simply means there is less for me to cut through..." Cypher thought to himself as he made a horizontal slash towards the opponent's mid-section in an attempt to slice the enemy mobile suit in half from the waist.
((Cypher is using one of his beamsabers to block the downward slash from both of your beamsabers while he uses his second beamsaber in an attempt to cut your mobile suit in half.))

Julius quickly boosts his mobile suit backwards, taking only part of the beam saber attack to his mobile suit torso, only leaving a nasty scar. Julius decides to change tactics, and lowers his arm guard, with the nasty spike on the end, and boosts forwards towards Cypher's unit, while keeping the shields at the ready for his oponent to retaliate.

"Fine..." Cypher stated flatly as the enemy dashed forward in an attempt to ram him with his shoulder spikes.
Deactivating both beamsabers, Cypher raised both shields in front of him and leveled his shoulder mounted beam cannon at his on-coming opponent as he ordered his bits to hover erratically around the enemy Xeno in a way to avoid any attacks from either the opponent or from himself. Then he ordered his bits to fire on the opposing mobile suit while he fired his beam cannon at the rushing enemy unit.

With a flick of a switch, Julius quickly deployed his anti beam cloak that had been added to the shoulder guard of his mobile suit, using it to block most of the attack from the shoulder beam cannon, then droping it as his mobile suit continued onwards with the shoulder spike attack. The shoulder guard is not a bit dammaged, but his mobile suit is in good condition, though he lost his cloak. When his unit got close to Cypher's unit, he activated his thrusters to push him forwards a little faster.

Feeling a touch bulltrue, Cypher quickly zipped to the left side of the enemy Xeno. Using an elementary school tactic he saw some of the local children pull, Cypher pushed his Genoace's leg out in front of the charging opponent in an attempt to trip him up.
If successful, Cypher would then stomp his foot down on the backside of the enemy mobile suit, raise his beamsabers over his head and bring them down, stabbing both of them into the torso area of the opponent's unit.

The trip attempt worked, but only partially. The moment His mobile suit lost it's ballance, Julius activated his thrusters, sending him forwards at top speed, and quickly out of the range of Cypher's attack attempt, quickly righting his unit again once out of range. Julius quickly spun his unit around, and brought up his beam sabers, crossing them before him.
