It was only a few hours after the full retreat from the Space elevator area. It was night, and the pilots had been sleeping and the Crew on board was on night shift when it happened. Bombs placed onboard the various transports went off. The Locations of the bombs were near the engines and in the Mobile suit hangars. The attempt was to destroy them, but the bombs mearly dammaged the engines, and caved in the mobile suit hangars.
It is now a few hours later. The scene, Various crashed transports. The Main characters have survived, as well as a few other members of the crew from the various transports, but your mobile suits are unable to be reached. Rules 1. This is a survival test, use what you can get and make it back to base.
2. You will find suits along the way to help you. Make use of these.
Rule 3. There are no spare parts beyond Salvage. If something is destroyed, it is gone until you can replace it with a salvaged part.
4. Any destroyed weapon is gone. Gather new weapons as you go. Your group technician can help with new weapons.

Axl Zephyrtek and Alex Fenrir had been playing catch-up when the Gaws crash-landed. Luckily, Axl had his pilot suit on, so he didn't take much, if any, damage, Alex got a little banged up, though. Flipping down his helment's antenna to use the range-finder, Axl quickly confirmed the downed Gaws about 5 Km away. Helping Scrap-Tech to his feet, the pair walked back to the Gaws while Axl flipped his helmet's antenna up to activate it's comm feature. "This is Sharpshot to all survivors of that crash, please check in to confirm your status, over." With that, Axl turned to Alex. "Scrap-Tech, I want you to see what state the hangers on these Gaws are in. If possible, I'd like at least something to work with." "You got it, Sharpshot. I'll be back in a bit." With that, Alex left Axl outside to inspect the damages while Alex checked the condition of the Gaws, which, even from an outside view, could be confirmed as "not good".

Winters regained consciousness and slowly stood up. He glanced at his right hand and started to panic, frantically searching the ground for something. He picked up his silver ring off the ground and sighed with relief before putting the ring back on his right hand. A few yards from his lay his damaged comm headset he had before the crash, which he picked up and could just make out the broadcast that Axl was sending. "This is Winters, I'm fine over here. I'm about a klick away from the crash site, over." he spoke into the headset as he walked to the crash site.

"Copy that, Winters. Scrap-Tech and me'll be waiting for you by the Gaws. Just from the look of them on the outside, I can almost guarantee our suits will have to say here until we can get the gear to extract them." Was Axl's reply moments before Alex returned. "No good, Sharpshot, the opening mechanisms on both Gaws' hangar doors are shot. One of the doors looked like it got broken in half in the crash, and from the look I got from that, I can guarantee you that we won't be getting the suits out of there anytime soon."

The last thing he recalled, was the sound of explosions and the gut wrenching sound of twisting metal, as the heavily Gaw descended...
Regaining consciousness, Marco Owen's first sensation was a dull pain, throbbing all over his person, as if he had been ran over by a vehicle of sorts.
"Ow......"
Slowly opening his eyes, the burly male noted that despite seeing the ground in front of him, he had quite the feeling that something was off, about his current situation. Unlocking the safety harness that was securing him to the seats, Marco barely caught himself from falling over. Realizing that he was on a slanted surface, the mercenary rather cautiously made his way out of the wrecked Gaw. Sitting down and leaning against the fuselage of the wreckage, the super soldier pulled down the top half of his piloting suit, which he had been wearing the whole time, and began to examine himself, so as to ascertain his current physical condition.
So far, he could determine no acute pain, which signified that there were no broken bones, nor open wounds, which was a relief. It appeared to him that all he had, were a few nasty bruises, no doubt caused by the seat harness during the carrier's turbulent and subsequently harsh landing. Climbing back onto his feet, the merc felt the familiar bulge of his machete, in its spine holster, along with his pair of handguns, which gave him some form of assurance, not to mention some kind of personal defense, should there be any danger.
But for the moment, his priority was to see if anyone else had survived the crash, and from there on, decide upon their next course of action.

Brad was out scouting the area a few meter out from the crash site. While Verid was tending to the wounded With A medical pack she had found on the gaw. A Bandage around her head and A carbine rifle Her brother had found on the gaw for her on her side. As she tended she couldn't help but think how lucky she and her brother were they had just left the hangar and were heading to the cockpit when the gaw had erupted in flame and crashed. She was jerked out of her musings byt the sound of slashing as the brush nearby was cut away by Brad returning. He had been using his sword as a machete. an assualt rifle slung over his shoulder. "Ok I need to see every one that is able now." Brad yelled to the group. "I didnt see anything out there. But the enemy likely know we are here. I need everyone to get anything of use out of the gaws. nly take what we can carry. We will need rations weapons, medical kits, and survival gear. So hurry up we need to leave this place and find somewhere safe to rest quickly. I only went out a little ways to try and see if I could locate where we were. I am not sure. I need a scout we need to find a safe place and a way back to the base so does any one here have experience with scouting? Brad called into the group as he told them to get as many supplies as they could get and made ready to move out.

Dust was banging and kicking around on the inside of the transport he had crashed in. The communications array inside wasn't responding no matter who he tried to reach. Having no way to get in touch with the others unless he bothered to fix it, and to be honest, he didn't feel staying was going to get him much of anywhere. He grabbed all of the supplies he could and left the transport, getting a feel of the area around him. He saw what looked like smoke in the distance and began to trek to it, hoping it was another transport like his, knowing though if the enemy saw the smoke it could be dangerous.

While helping the others scavenge what they can from the surrounding transports, Axl happened upon a hunting rifle and plenty of ammo for it. Knowing that could prove useful, Axl spared no second thought to acquire the rifle and its 20 bullets, using a make-shift sling to secure the rifle for easy access, with the bullets in a pouch on his pilot suit's belt. With the new weapon secured, Axl got back to helping get supplies from the transports, managing to secure some rations in addition to his "new" hunting rifle. Alex, already having his black toolbelt with all the tools he needs, wasn't really looking so much for weaponry as he was supplies that could help the entire group. During his search, he found some rations for the group to munch on during the trip back to Unicorn and a hand-held GPS unit that the group could use to navigate. After a brief check of it, he confirmed that it was still in working order and set to work starting it up.

Winters started walking in the direction of the crash site. He started to casually whistle while walking. "Well, the weather's nice at least... I guess." he said to himself as he continued to walk.

Checking the wreckage for survivors, Marco stumbled upon the cockpit of Gaw, but the interior was too wrecked to be of any use. Salvaging a med-pack and some MREs, which were strewn about recklessly, as a result of the crash, Marco patched up the few survivors to the best of his ability. Since he had no real idea as to their current location, the merc used the items from the med pack sparingly, just to stretch the supply out longer.
Meanwhile, he wondered if any of assault team managed to survive the crash of the other Gaws. But with the ship's comms down, there was no real way he could contact the rest.
