While monitoring the surrounding area Kris noticed a firefight in progress and couldn't help but realize no one had signaled this yet. This was incentive to take action.
"This is Kris to Assault team, I'm picking up an armed conflict nearby. I confirm that our forces are involved, I'm transmitting coordinates, get over there and wipe em out!"
With a new visage of vicious joy, Kris's MS loaded a clip into it's rifle and began to take aim. Something about his delight at battle could be frightening, but he merely saw it as "a chance to collect battle data." Whispering to himself, he said "This is going to be fun~"

The intercom inside the Gaw started blaring "Hostiles picked up on radar, stand by for air drop." The Gaw's crew members scurried about unfastening Winters' GM. "About flippin' time!" Winters instantly perked up and hurriedly closed up the hatch of his suit. Fully powered-up, Winters readied his suit as the Gaw's massive rear doors opened up. When he received the all-clear, Winters stepped forward and hopped out of the plane. He brought up his booster to full power to slow the descent of his bulky suit while widely swinging around to head towards the action.

Grunt Three never saw it coming. It was trying so hard to pretend not to notice the enemy unit it was walking towards yet at the same time trying to keep the enemy in its sights that it was unable to notice or defend itself from the sniper round that tore into its torso and out the backside, causing the Grunt to fall first to its knees, then face down onto the forest floor. The second sniper round shot clean through the Defiler as well, but unlike the Grunt, the Defiler emitted an animal-like growl, pounced around to face towards where the shot that hit it came from, and fired a full volley of missiles in that direction complimented by heavy machinegun fire from its Machinegun Pack. This allowed the enemy in the Hound mobile suit to make a clean retreat from the immediate area.
The sudden volume of fire from all directions caused Grunts one and five to roll to the sides, onto their knees, and open fire in random directions with their shoulder mounted Gatling Shields along with Cracker Grenades from their mounted Grenade Launchers. Grunts two and four accelerated though the dirt launched up into the air from the enemy grenades before taking to the air themselves in tank form thanks to the flight capabilities their Mine Layer Packs granted them. Once in the air, they fired their Rail Guns at the twin Gaws they could now see.
The second Field Leader saw what appeared to be a Gouf hybrid sweep in low and fire a beam bazooka at it. Working quickly, the Field Leader raised its left arm in a defensive position and with a slight hum of energy, a field of UE green energy formed and absorbed the beam energy that fired from the bazooka. However, before it could react further, a cloud of smoke formed around the Field Leader, forcing it to activate its heat sensors to see through the smoke. While this happened, the first Field Leader threw a Disruption Particle Grenade towards the bits it saw speeding through the forest in an attempt to disable the bits by scrambling the signal they were receiving from their controller. It then followed this action with a volley of missiles launched into the air from its Heavy Strike Pack at the Gouf hybrid that attacked its twin.

The Hunter quickly activated her stealth system, and begins dive bombing the Grunts on the ground, droping Cracker gernades from her bomber holsters, and firing off shots from her dual Lancers.

The pilot was pleased to see his shots make their mark, but was surprised to see the Defiler didn't go down, and quickly jetted to the right, narrowly evading the Defiler's barrage attack. The pilot then realized something, if the Defiler didn't go down from a torso shot where he had aimed, then it's cockpit area must be somewhere else on the MS. Re-locking onto the Defiler, the pilot opened fire on it with both of his Beam Snipers, one aimed at the Defiler's head, and the other aimed closer to the neck joint on the Defiler's torso.

Soaring into the battlefield, Marco was rather surprised to see a pair of tanks take to the air. "Sheesh, now i've seen everything,", he remarked while tying his newly upgraded beam rifles and his horde of remotes into the targeting system. And as if by some unspoken command, 20 of the beam gun toting remotes deployed and darted out from their storage containers, from the rear of the mobile and hovered around the flying mobile weapon. Locking onto one of the flying tanks, Marco had his deployed remotes fire off a single beam gun shot from each bit at the machine's joints, while his quartet of beam rifles each fired off a single high powered beam rifle shot at the core body of the flying tank.

Verdi saw the railgun rounds fired at the gaw and was glad she had taken a defensive position around it. Ignoring her scrambled bits in the forest for the moment she ordered her shield bits to block the shots and watched as two of them exploded. opening the comm she said "This is White knight Four The Gaws are under attack I repeat the Gaws are under attack!!" She then had her ten launcher bits unleash a missile barrage on one of the two flying tanks while she fired her beam cannon and the Agrissa's beam cannon at the other flying tank.
Brad heard his sisters warning about the gaws being targeted. So he unleashed his double gatling guns on the missiles as well as his head mounted vulcans. At the same time he flew to the left of the attack in order to avoid any survivng missiles. "Got to support the gaw" Brad thought before opening the channel to the rest of the assualt force. "We need to protect the Gaws until they can land. Hunter keep the other grunts on the ground and take out any of the others that take to the air. We need to keep the Gaws safe and secure or this mission is already lost" Brad told them as he pulled two birdlime grenades from his grenade holder and tossed them at the two field commanders he didn't have time to take them out. Not while the gaws were in danger. He then headed upwards in order to try and get a clear view of the battle field. He saw the attacks headed towards the two flying tanks and held his fire instead looking for other tanks on the ground hoping to take them out before they could get airborne. "This is white knight one I need a tally on the enemy forces so far I have encountered Two field leaders and the two flying tanks. What is the status of the remaining enemies. And any signs of reinforcements?" Brad asked as he surveyed the forest for new foes.

Unable to do anything due to everyone else making attacks on the Field Leader, Briar was forced to remain in hiding. With enemies that could easily see threw his stealth systems and his close-combat weaponry being near-useless in a full-frontal assault, Briar decided that a tactical retreat was in order. Still in Mobile Armor form, Briar turned tail and ran off, leaving the battlefield.

Coming into contact with the ground, Winters brought his GM to hover off the ground while still moving forward. As Winters got close, he saw Marco's suit firing at one of two flying suits. He pressed a button on his console and deployed his Launcher Bits, setting the suit Marco wasn't firing at as the other target. He moved diagonally to the left before going full-blast with his booster to gain some air as he took aim with his PVBR (in standard fire mode) and shot at the enemy suit, aiming at the torso area. Launcher Bits 1,2 and 3 launched a suppressing volley at the suit while 4 and 5 moved to flank the enemy suit on the left side.

Dust arrived overhead of the enemy units, deploying his grenadier bits that are filled with cracker grenades, He flys around and then back overhead, releasing grenades from his bomber holsters as the grenadier bits drop their grenades as well, the area around all enemies being bombarder by grenades.

Grunts One and Five narrowly avoided the attacks aimed for them as they fell back towards both of the Field Leaders and adjusted their shoulder shields to take the attacks ment for their commanders. The birdlime grenades impacted with the shields and the sticky substance they released spread and hardened, caking itself onto the surface of the shields. However, this caused the Gatling Guns on each of the shields to get gummed up and rendered useless by the sticky ooze the birdlime grenades were made up of. Grunts One and Five retaliated by releasing their Launcher Bits and commanding them to pursue the Gouf Hybrid and shoot it down.
Taking advantage of the cover their minions provided for them, both Field Leaders equipped the large, plasma charged sword mounted to each of their Heavy Strike Packs and boosted straight towards the GM that just landed and began to open fire on the Grunts in the air in tank form. They both swung their swords, one high and one low, in an attempt to cut the enemy mobile suit into three pieces before it had a chance to become fully aware of the ground situation and take action.
Grunts Two and Four managed to avoid most of the attacks fired at them simply by cutting their flight thrusters and allowing themselves to free fall from the air as they quickly transformed back into mobile suit form. Once in MS Mode, they activated their thrusters to slow their decent just before they hit the ground. Once down, they split up, Grunt Two moving to support the Defiler while Grunt Four moved to support Grunts One and Five. Both deployed their Launcher Bits to cover the teams they were forming up with. Grunt Four's bits joined with One's and Five's to shoot down the Gouf Hybrid while Grunt Two's bits moved straight for the sniper attacking the Defiler the Grunt was moving to support.
The Defiler ducked low and rolled to the left, barely avoiding the twin sniper rounds fired at it. Once it was back on it's feet, the Defiler released the Launcher Bits under its control and had them join up with the bits Grunt Two deployed before using its flight thrusters to take to the air, just above the treeline to fire its missiles and heavy machineguns directly at the sniper, with nothing to block or hinder its line of fire.

The Hunter quickly took off after the Grunt units that had taken off towards the Field leader unit, bringing her unit down to Tree Top level. The hunter quickly activates her Chain saw blades on her guns, as well as the heat Cores, and dives directly at the two Grunts, swinging both of her weapons.

The sounds of battle were suddenly pierced by the loud, sharp, animal-like roar of the Defiler as it raised it's face to the air and loosed it's cry. As soon as the Defiler ended it's roar, the UE ceased their attacks and fell back to the main entrance of the elevator and took up a strong defensive perimeter. The Defiler joined them shortly and they stood stock still, weapons aimed at the edge of the clearing their enemy would have to come through should they leave the forest and pursue them.
Soon, several shadows appeared on the ground just in front of the currently gathered UE force. At least a hundred grunts, both in tank form and not, descended from the air with the aid of their flight capabilities, joined by about thirty Dragoons and a pair of Wyverns hanging in the air above them. Not only that, but a duo of Brawlers hit the ground with an earth shaking impact, sending dirt flying in all directions, allowing the fifteen cloaked Reapers to drop their cloaks under the dust cover, making it seem like they just appeared out of nowhere when the dust and dirt settled.
By now the elevator had made it to the ground level and when it opened, a mixed group of twenty Defilers and thirty Field Leaders stepped out and joined the others. However, one unit stayed on the elevator and in the shadows it provided. This mobile suit seemed to be the leader of this whole army, and something about it seemed evil. More evil than any UE Boss the humans beholding this has faced before.
"This elevator is now under the complete control of the UE. Surrender now, and I may allow you all a head start before I send my forces to kill you. If you're lucky, you may leave this forest alive." The Boss mocked before a twisted robotic laughter could be heard from him.

When the UE paused and reformed into a defensive perimeter, Marco wondered what the hell was going on, when his sensors started sounded shrilly, indicating the present of multiple additional enemy reinforcements. The sheer numbers indicated as much that the assault team would be overwhelmed, should they press on with their attack. Reluctantly, Marco recalled his remotes, which quickly returned to their storage locales. "Gunner to Assault force, strongly recommend that we commence tactical withdrawal from current combat location. There's no way we can continue onwards, considering the vastly reinforced enemy presence."
Whilst giving the UE forces the evil eye, Marco had his Deathwing hold the rear guard, while waiting for other friendly forces to be extracted from the combat zone.

Forcing his suit to jump backwards to evade the Field Leaders coming after him, he was 100% ready to go on the defensive when suddenly they decided to fly away. "Uh, what just happened?" he asked himself as his radar picked up a myriad of enemy signals. He recalled his Launcher bits, then heard Marco's warning on the comm followed by the weird mechanical voice's threat. "Well, can't be rude and not accept the crazy robot's offer." he said as he turned his suit around and went full blast back to the transports.
