The hunter's Unit flew overhead of the Gaws layed out in the area a distance from the space elevator, working to keep them as far from it as possible, without making it too hard to get there. She was keeping an eye out for enemy units, as well as reveling in the feel of her new suit.

a little ways away from the Gaws, a faint wavering could be spotted. That wavering was, in truth, the active stealth unit of a rapidly moving, highly customized RX-77-2 Guncannon that had somehow drifted into the hands of the last surviving member of the Elevator's former defense team. Built to be a high-speed, high armor Sniper build for a variety of uses, the unit handled like a dream. Focused on completing the final order given to him by his former commander, the pilot kept on course, headed along a route that was completely off the UE's radar to one of a series of sniper points he had plotted out around the Elevator long before any of this happened. He had spotted the Gaws, and hoped that someone had finally come to save him, but as it could be equally as likely a U.E. trap, he refrained from sending his info and former status as a member of the Elevator's defense team to the transports and kept on his route. If the transports were members of some kind of resistance, then they'd be getting some help from the shadows. If the Gaws were a UE trap, then it was the UE who were in for a surprise.

Flying alongside the formation of Gaws, Marco's heavily armed Deathwing was soaring along the massive aircraft, while keeping an eye on his sensors for any intrusion into the flight's airspace. Rather than take up a slot within the aerial transport, he had volunteered to fly as escort. And so far, nothing was out of the blue. Fortunately for the merc, he had somehow managed to get Deathwing's OS to settle down and operate properly, despite the tight pre-launch window the mission had.
Hailing the lead GAW, Marco reported his findings.
"Gunner to GAW Flight, all clear on sensors so far. Continuing escort and monitoring"

Verdi was flying over head in her upgraded Nymeria. Tho the only thing that was the same between this suit and her old one was the name Nymeria and the Agrissa unit that was attached to her suit. She was amazed at the feel of her new suit and was excited unlike her first two suits this one she had had input on equipping and had even been maintaining the suit on her own. But she wasn't going to slack this assault was important for the unicorn alliance and it was another step towards freeing her homeland. she looked over to her brother flying ahead of her. She could see him with her heat sensors but she knew he would be invisible to most others as he had his stealth field engaged. She released her speed bits and spread them around her as she flew. Her training in with the bits had progressed so far that releasing and controlling the bits with the help of the triple bit controllers was second nature. She was unsure if it was going from two to three computers one of which was super more advanced or if she was getting better at handling her bits. As she was enjoying the level of control she had over the twenty bits she was also keeping her eyes out for trouble.
At the same time Brad was speeding ahead of Verdi reveling in the speed of his new suit. with this model he had eliminated the defensive issues of his last suit and not only was the suit mor armored it was actually faster then his talgeese one half. this protogeese mk2 utilized any of the outstanding features of it's predecessor like the bazooka set up albeit with an upgraded bazooka he had dropped the heat rod which he had not been able to properly harness. In it's place he had set up a weapon system that he was pretty sure he could handle more effectively. this passed through his head as he effortlessly flew forward the air rushing through the suit's wings. As much fun as he was apprehensive about this battle. Despite the great performance of Verdi's and his suits these suits had not been tested and he would have preferred to field test them in mock battles but there had not been enough time before the mission started. putting that aside he opened the private channel "This is White knight one everyone keep your eyes peeled we are nearing the elevator and hostiles are likely nearby." Brad warned the rest of the assault team Smiling when he heard his sister's immediate affirmative.

Briar overheard Brad's communication, but merely gave an annoyed grunt to himself and ignored it. He had been here the last few days, thoroughly scouting the area in preparation for the mission. He had tracked information ranging from what Mobile Suits the enemy currently had with them to when they change patrols. He would have attempted to take these guys down on his own, but he knew that Valen would just get up in his face about it. And now he had to contend with at least three other variables during this mission, the only one he knew even the slightest about being Marco and his obscenely armed unit.
Briar stalked the perimeter in his Hound, the Mobile Suit currently in its quadruped form. With his Stealth Unit active Briar moved at a steady pace, keeping an eye on the oblivious patrolling enemy units. Having observed the enemy units and their performance, Briar had taken to traveling right outside the range of their heat sensors, as if taunting the ignorant U.E. He currently had his eyes set on one of the Field Leaders and a Grunt unit nearby. The moment the signal went off to attack, Briar aimed to take the Field Leader out and cause discord among the lower ranks, forcing either the second Field Leader or the Defiler in charge to take action and leave them open. The Grunt didn't really concern him; should things go south, Briar figured he could use it as a meat shield for incoming enemy fire.

Kris' GM had approached the tower in on the various bridges leading to the elevator. About halfway out, he had stopped and brought his MS to a kneeling position. He set four clips of solid ammunition on the ground next to him in a neat little row and raised his rifle to aim.
"I'm in position for anti personal support on the North end of the elevator. Try not to get in my line of fire and lure them out if they hide south of the structure."

Waiting inside the Gaw with his GM, Winters went through his suit's systems one more time. Idly fiddling with one of the switch covers, he paused and stared at his weapon load-out display. "Note to self: pick up some more guns if I don't die." he said to himself. He began thinking that his suit's weaponry, or lack thereof, wasn't going to suffice for this mission. Before he could lose his cool, he took several deep breaths and went back to fiddling with the switch cover. "Jeez, this wait is boring."

Dust too was flying over head in a DINN, a little further back than the Deathwing as he was so busy at the shop he hadn't had time to do a test run with this new unit. He had finished his practice awhile ago but doing so had put him behind. He was excited to see though it looked like he hadnt miss much by the time he arrived near them.

Because of Briar's fixation on the Grunt and Field Leader currently in his sights, he failed to notice the blip on his display indicating the slow approach of the Defiler who happened to spot him while coming back from a "fish-net" style patrol. But instead of attacking, the Defiler crouched low into a position that would allow it to easily pounce if it was discovered. Quickly linking with both of the Field Leaders, it sent a private transmission to them telling them of the unwelcome guest and that there may be others.
To avoid raising suspicion, the Field Leaders gathered all the Grunts together and made it appear like they were moving out for another patrol. The Grunts were in a spread out line and began to move quietly, yet alertly into the forest. Grunts one, three, and five were in mobile suit form while Grunts two and four went into tank form and were followed a short distance away by the twin Field Leaders. Grunt three was moving straight towards Briar's position, but pretended, under orders, to not know that's where his enemy was set up. Meanwhile, the Defiler kept his lock set on Briar's unit, but made sure to keep its awareness up in case Briar happened to be a trap set up to catch them all off guard.

The Hunter immediatly spots a group of enemy units gathering up in the forest nearby.
"Well, we can't have that can we."
Switching her unit into Mobile suit mode for more fire power, Firing her two lancers directly at the group of grunts, and adding a pair of Cracker Gernades to the mix as well from her Mounted Gernade launchers.

The pilot of the cloaked Guncannon also gets the blips of the gathering enemies on his scanners. The pilot stops and engages his heat sensor before turning to see what was going on. Spotting the enemies gathering around a quad-legged MS, presumably which had an active Stealth Unit like his own new Guncannon has on it, the pilot instantly knew that the MS from the Gaws were resistance fighters, and the unit being converged on was a friendly. Marking the flank-vulnerable friendly as a "Protect Target", the pilot engages his new suit's two Beam Sniper Rifles and took aim, setting his targeting sights on both the Defiler and the Grunt directly moving in on the "Protect Target", setting good firing solutions with both sniper-type weapons for a direct cockpit shot to both the Defiler and the Grunt. Once the solutions were set, and after a quick double-check of his calculations, the unknown (to the "Protect Target" and any of it's allies in the area) friend sent two streaks of energy along his allocated firing solutions, aiming to take down the Defiler and Grunt before the "Protect Target" got flanked and completely destroyed.

When his sensors started to pick up what appeared to be like weapons fire, on the fringe of his sensor range, Marco wondered if there was something going on that Gaw Flight and the other members of the team should be away of.
"Gunner to Gaw Flight, reporting suspicious weapons fire detected on fringes of sensors. Breaking formation to ID cause. Gunner out", the pilot of Deathwing reported, as he had his DINN break formation and flying off to ascertain the cause of weapons fire. Getting closer, the burly merc noticed what appeared to be a firefight in progress.
"Gunner to Gaw flight, Hostiles appear to be detected in this sector ! I repeat, Hostiles in this sector ! Gunner will be assisting in combat. Suggest you warn other participants. Over and Out."
Activating his targeting systems, Marco had them sweep the area for hostiles, for whom he tag and lock onto, before being fired at. As an afterthought, he sent the telemetry data he had to all friendlies in the area, so that they would know the locations of each other, as well as any probable enemies in range.

Brad was Scanning the area when he saw the flash of the cracker grenade and zoomed in towards the enemy still cloaked. As he came withing range of the enemies he fired his bazooka in it's beam setting at the field leader. As the beam flashed he continued moving tho he stayed a distance away from the enemy not wanting to be caught in the crossfire but not ready to disengage his stealth system. At the same time he tossed a smoke grenade to further confuse the foes and hopefully allow him to sneak away and avoid total detection.
Verdandi meanwhile sent her speed bits into the forest after Brad to harass the enemy flitting in between the trees and smoke firing on the enemy units then darting away. At the same time she released her ten defensive shield bits as well as the missile launcher bits and set them around her defensively as she carefully approached the battle field looking for a place to be out of the way so she could send out most of her bits to support the rest of the team finally deciding to take up a defensive position alongside the gaw. As she approached she alerted the gaw she would be supporting it this battle. At the same time she readied her bits in case she needed them to quickly deploy to support her allies and to protect the gaw. She also noted her beam cannons were nearly finished charging.

Dust saw the other DINN up ahead break formation to go investigate what he was just picking up as possible weapons fire. ust piloted his DINN around the other side hoping to get the enemy at both sides.
"Dust to Gunner, following you down, over and out"
