In an attempt to regain the South american G system once more, the Enemy has sent a HUGE swarm of Death army birdie units to deal with any defenders in the area. Though they know that these units are out of date, they have decided that in huge numbers, they can deal with anything.
Current numbers of Death Army birdie units 60

Valen saw the swarm of birdies gather in the distance from inside the cockpit of his transport container. Knowing this couldn't be good he engages the autopilot and sets it to drop him and Cecil off in the area before falling back to a safe position. After performing an aerial drop he lands feet first on the ground. Looking up he swears to himself at the sheer number of enemies before placing a mobile suit sized cowboy hat on his machine's head. This was gonna be one hell of a fight.

Alex was driving the Gallop to a well-hidden location to bombard the approaching Birdies from, simultaneously prepping the catapult to launch Axl's suit into battle. Getting the Gallop to a well hidden-section of forest nearby, he gave Axl the green light to launch, the "Sharp-Shooter" Custom roaring out of the Gallop's trailer soon after. Making sure he got a distance away from the Gallop before moving to join Valen as not to reveal the location of Scrap-Tech's transport, Axl already had his Beam Splitter drawn in his right hand, SubRoc Gun in his left, both of his Smooth bore Cannons giving the confirming "Ka-Chunk", his head and torso Vulcans primed, leg-mounted Beam Machine Guns whirring to life, and his Guncannon charging.

Looking at the number of red markers on the screen, Marco wondered if they had bitten off more than they could chew for this mission. Quite honestly, he was just a tad skeptical that the 5 of them could decimate the whole crowd of enemies in the distance. Taking up a support position behind the front-liners, Marco had his beam rifles set in rapid firing mode, while arranging for an optimal firing solution.

Briar rode towards the battlefield in his Genoace Custom, watching the cannon fodder fly towards where the G System was. His Mobile Suit wasn't exactly designed for long-ranged assault, but he figured he could at least get their attention. Drawing his Prototype Variable Beam Rifle in the right hand of his mobile suit, and the Beam Divider Gun in the left, Briar aimed all three of his beam weapons at the enemies. Setting the Variable Beam Rifle to its rapid-fire configuration, Briar opened fire on the flying mook mechs.

Touching down behind Valen Harlow examined the skies, he didn't need his sensor suite to tell him that this was going to be quite the surface-to-air battle. The ran back, moving in position in a forrested area for cover, beam Sniper Rifle slung over his back. "Showtime."

The moment Briar opened fire on the Death army birdie units, doing dammage to one of the units, 60 different units turn on him at once, and open fire on the area that the attack had come from. Fortunatly, most of the attacks do not hit the same area, but the majority will land on or near Kagi's unit.

Rubbing his temple at his allies mistake Valen dashes forward to his aid, firing the shoulder mounted gatling guns and both vulcan/sabers in a spray at the center of the swarm.

Axl sighed at Briar's amature move. Until you have a plan and the enemy hasn't arrived, you do not open fire and blow your cover, you keep out of sight and devise a sure-fire strategy. trading out the Beam Splitter and SubRoc Gun for his Prototype Beam Sniper Rifle and Prototype Gundam Beam Rifle, Axl pulled back while pulling up the data files for synchronizing the Assault Container's autopilot, specifically, its combat functions, with Axl's Mobile Suit Controls. while he wasn't exactly a tech wiz like Scrap-Tech, he did know a thing or two about Mobile Suit combat and control systems and how to link up with a transport's auto-pilot, if it has one. This would call for finesse and careful targeting calculations, as while gunning with an MS or a Transport individually was easy, gunning with both from two separate locations with two different firing angles is another matter entirely. Once he got the green light on the synching, he brought up two different targeting screens, one from the Assault Container's perspective, and one from the enhanced view of his MS's sniper scope. Being extremely careful with the targeting with both screens, Axl brought one line of Birdies into a firing solution with the Assault Container's main cannons, and a small group of three Birdies into scopes with Axl's own Prototype Beam Sniper Rifle, Prototype Gundam Beam Rifle, and left arm Smooth bore Cannon. At the same time, he relayed targetting data to Alex for a coordinated long-range firing support strike on the swarm of enemy Birdies. Working as quickly as possible, Alex aligned the Gallop's double Machine gun turrets and double beam cannon turret into line with what Axl was planning. Getting Alex's light of confirmation, Axl started up a countdown clock on both his and Alex's screens. "5...4...3...2...1...Fire!" With that, Axl squeezed his triggers, sending two high-power blasts from the Assault Container's heavy cannons at their mark and Axl's own weapons fire at their designated Birdies. Alex, simultaneous with Axl's attack, opened fire with what limited weapons the Gallop had into the swarm of Birdies, fully aware that every Birdie completely destroyed is a Birdy he won't be bringing into the Junk Shop to work with.

Grimacing and face-palming at Briar's unexpected move, Marco subsequently was heard muttering and swearing within the close confines of the cockpit, as he reacted to the horde of aerial units noticing Team Strike. Raising all 4 variable beam rifles skywards, he unleashed a full hail of some 20 particle bolts at the flock of aerial units.

Briar figured that the enemies would focus on him, and brought his shield into defensive positioning, its Anti-beam coating rendering the incoming beam blasts useless, while using the high speed of his mobile suit to evade the rest of the raining beams. Between the moments when he was evading the laser blasts, Briar fired his Variable Beam Rifle's rapid-fire configuration across the multiple enemies, their focus on him causing them to somewhat cluster and become easier targets. All Briar had to do was keep his shield up, keep dodging what he could, and wait for them to come in close.

"He didn't just do that did he? Jeez he'll be the death of us all." Surprised by the sheer stupidity of Briar Harlow got ready to provide cover fire, remaining near the edge of the forested area he forwarded targeting data that his improved sensors picked up to his allies. He raised his sniper rifle into position, aiming for the wings so that something might remain for Alex salvage and fired. As long as the bait remained intact Harlow would be able to keep backing his allies up with targeting data and cover fire.

In an instant, 6 birdie units that had been focousing on Kagi's unit are blown out of the sky. 3 of them come crashing to the ground, while 3 are fully destroyed. The moment these are destroyed, the other 54 units scatter zipping off in different directions. As if commanded by a outside force, the birdie units divide into 6 groups of 9 each, all members of each group keeping apart from each other as not to keep to grouped up, and all targeting an area where an attack came from. Opening fire on the areas of fire, four of the groups saturate the area with beam fire where the attacks came from, hoping to bring their oponents into the open. One group moves in on the large transport that Axl is currently using to attack, opening fire on both Axl and the transport. The sixth group opens fire on the area of the Gallop transport.

Realizing what the birdies were doing Valen sighed in relief. They were splitting into groups. While that protected them from being mowed down, it also made it easier for the team to tackle them individually. However as the battle had started on a bad note he decided it was now or never to go all out.
With a loud boom he maxed out his thrusters and took to the sky, charging directly for a group of birdies. As he approached he unlocked his gatlings firing limiters and proceeded to unload nearly half his ammo into the swarm of birdies while activating his secret weapon, the vulcan/sabers. From each hand a golden ball of beam energy formed that stretched and expanded until it took the form of a blade. With a sigh he prepared for the true fight.

Axl was surprised the Birdies had made a plan such as that. Oh well, less hassle for him gunning down Birdies without literally destroying any. Letting the cannons on the Container cool down after their initial shot, Axl took aim at the lead three Birdies in the group headed for him with his Beam Sniper, Prototype Gundam Beam Rifle, and Smooth bore Cannon, letting all three fire once he got good firing solutions on each Birdies, making sure the solutions led to successful shots to the Birdies' cockpit area.
Alex knew he would be in trouble if the Birdies headed his way were allowed to cripple or destroy the Gallop, and instantly set the Gallop's Machine Gun Turrets to automatic defense, causing the two double-barrel turrets to open fire at the nearest of the oncoming Birdies while Alex took personal control of the Double Beam Cannon turret to clip the Birdies' wings before they could do any serious damage to his transport, taking aim at the middle Birdie in the group headed his way and letting another pair of beams loose from the Gallop's main gun.
