Pre mission Briefing

"How about we send you down with every single space filled with explosives, if there's space next to your ego." Harlow didn't even look at Willis as he hurled the insult, instead he kept working away at his tablet.

Suppressing the temptation to throw an insult at Willis for his pompous attitude, Kris sat with posture and answered Leon in a professional and almost militaristic fashion

"I am not readily equipped for aquatic combat so I'd like to Veto myself from the first objective, if that's alright with you Leon. Should the teams be imbalanced I volunteer myself to be switched if necessary."

Charlie had already signed up for this mission but volunteered himself again just to be safe, "Well we will see how this goes I suppose"

Leon simply nods to each comment, noting down those who were willing to go on this mission on his pad. Then he activated the remote.

"Our next target is a rather important one as well."

Turning towards the group, little does he notice that instead of the picture he wanted, the screen was now showing Valen at the last party, acting rather badly.

"We have been wanting to get this target for some time, and we will capture it."

Leon turns towards the screen, and after a few choice words, quickly fumbles with the remote, quickly moving it to the next slide.

"Some one remind me to fire who ever did these slides."

Finally, Leon manages to get it to show this.



"Lets try that again, this is the rarget. The american space elevator, located in central america. This has the power to get us into space, where I suspect that the enemy is right now. If we can get a foot hold in space, we can take the fight to them. We will also use the elevator to get the ship into space. Any questions?"

Valen walked over to Leon, hit him with a backhanded slap before going back to his seat muttering something about "saving the best for last".

"Hey dudes, no need to get your trunks in a twist." Will said in reply to the scathing comments and disapproving looks he got. "Just saying, my suit's about all we got for marine-specialized combat. And I've personally made sure it's VERY good at what it does. But if you guys wanna go down there too, I don't see any problem with it." Tossing the folded up piece of paper he had over to Valen, he continued. "By the way, Briar decided to do his usual thing and get some intelligence on his own. He'll probably be late to this briefing. If he even decides to bother showing up period, considering him and his attitude towards teamwork."

Winters slides through the doorway, oblivious to the looks he is receiving and quickly finds an empty seat. He glances around, and gives an embarrassed smile while remaining silent.

With the revealing of the second mission, Marco's attention was perked. The very fact that it was partially an aerial mission, would give him and excellent chance to field test the Dinn "Deathwing" he had created. "I'm in for this one...would be a good chance to test out Deathwing...", he said, while raising his hand at the same time.

With the same look of unshakable determination and focus, Kris spoke up
"I would like to partake in the breaching of the space elevator. I believe the technology in the space elevator could be analyzed to further the advancement of our own equipment. With the cooperation of Droid, we could even scan the data archives on making the ship in objective A capable of atmospheric transfer on it's own."

Turning to Valen momentarily, he shot a glare so deep and piercing it may as well have been a bullet itself.
"On another note, that is no way to treat a comrade. Act up again and disciplinary measures will be taken"
After saying that, he faced forward again wearing his common, blank expression.

Valen turned back to Kris. "Cool it, it's not like it actually hurt him. And besides, what kind of disciplinary action can you take? We're mercenaries, we don't recognize your authority. Now, let's get back to the actual matter, beating the UE, shall we?" With that said he turned his attention back to the front.

"What Kris says has merit. We need better tech and the UE have it. Fortunately my team managed to salvage some older models from the enemy. It's possible we could reverse engineer their command systems and install them into mobile suits to be remote controlled. Less casualties and more mobile suits on the front."

"Also, what do we currently know of the enemy's strength? I highly doubt the elevator is lightly guarded."

"I am also in on this one, it will be a good chance to test my Dinn as well" Said Dust. "Me and Marco could even fly ahead for recon"

"Something in the area is blocking our ability to see what is around the elevator with our equipment. Our tech guys have no idea what is going on, and we have seen nothing like it before."

Leon quickly shuts down the projector, and grabs some of the slides, looking through them. With each, his face gets angrier and angrier, and he is glad he did not do more slides. Quickly, Leon puts away the slides, planning to burn them when he gets out of there.

"Ok, we leave in an hour. Everyone, to your respective transports. Those going on the water mission, you will be using the Assault Containers, those going to the elevator, you will be taking the Bassilisk. Now get going."
