Brad Vs Gene

[Bozz]

Brad marched into the arena with a thrill he loved when they had these tournaments and he wasn't going to hold back. So with a grin he drew his Ginn sword and his mace and prepared to fight.

[Uryuu]

Gene walked into the arena, the crowd roared with excitement, but he didn't really care for these types of things. The only reason he's even participating is to have the chance to get some practice in for the battles ahead of them and to possibly win this mysterious prize. He took his Heat Sword from his rear skirt armor, burning a dull orange color, and held it out in front of him with one hand, keeping a calm and cool composure.

[Bozz]

Brad smiled and said lets get this started and he dodged to the left firing his arm mounted machine gun at Gene firing as he moved. As he moved he checked his cannon and found it was nearly charged.

[Uryuu]

Gene simply ducked beneath the fire and charged at Brad while he was going in a clockwise orbit around the arena in a counter-clockwise direction while taking some minor damage to his left should from his Machine Gun. He tried cutting off Brad's Machine Gun arm from below with his Heat Sword.

[Bozz]

jumping out of the Brad felt as the Leo took a gash in the shoulder from Gene's attack. As he came down on the enemy Leo's side he opened fire with his 2 sets of vulcans at the enemy Leo's head. at the same time he brought his mace down aiming for his enemy's shoulder at the same time he made a stab at the torso's side. This fight was quite entertaining. Brad thought with a growl.

Brad jumped out of the way of Gene's attack, only grazing his shoulder. As he touched down on the side of him, he fired his vulcans at his head and then came at him with both of his maces. Gene quickly turned, ducked down, the vulcans only grazing the back of his Leos head, and boosted towards Brad, closing the distance between them. He tackled him to the ground as a result, avoiding one mace and barely avoiding the other, leaving a large gash in the side of his torso armor. When they were both on the ground, Gene got up on his feet and proceeded to hold his Heat Sword in both hands and bringing it down on Brad's Leo.

Bringing up his shield Brad caught the heat blade with it. At the same time he fired both his shoulder and head vulcans. As the vulcan rounds were fired Brad also flipped the switch and fired his Shoulder mounted beam cannon at Gene's suit.

[Uryuu]

Gene's Heat Sword got stuck in Brad's shield while being hailed with Vulcan fire, tearing up his armor. He quickly sliced through the shield and boosted to the left, narrowly avoiding his Beam Cannon. His armor was too torn up at this point to be useful, so he purged the Full Armor set from his Leo, making it much lighter. He went a considerable distance away from Brad and brandished his Beam Repeater. Gene took aim through the scope, aiming at the Leos wolf head, and fired.

Brad laughed as Gene took the time to use his beam repeater's scope in the enclosed arena. By the time that shot was lined up Brad had used his Leo's extreme speed to move to the left evading the shots.

Using his huge speed advantage he closed in on The enemy Leo. as he approached he began firing all his machine guns both sets of vulcans and his arm mounted machine gun. As he passed Gene during this strafing run he dropped a pineapple grenade at the Leo's feet as he passed. He was going to show this Leo what speed was.

Brad had managed to dodge Gene's attack and began orbiting around him in a clockwise manner, firing all of his Machine Guns and vulcans at him. ("*sigh*, This again?") He quickly dodged to his left while blocking some of the shots with his sword, only taking minor damage to the right side of his torso and right arm. When he saw a grenade thrown to his feet, he skidded as he stopped and jumped up as high as he could. The blast slightley damaged the feet, having small pieces of shrapnel stuck in them, but nothing serious. While in midair, Gene aimed ahead of Brad's Leo during his strafe with his Beam Repeater and fired. His speed would be no match against his technique.

[Bozz]

hearing the sound of the shots being fired Brad turned as quickly as he could and pulled his antibeam cloaktaround himself and allowed it to absorb most of the beam repeaters assault.using this to his advantage he moved to the other end of the arena. Looking at his computer he saw that his shoulder cannon was nearly finished recharging.

[Uryuu]

Seeing as how his attack was completely ineffective again, Gene holstered his Beam Repeater and safely touched down. He was pretty tired at this point. He wiped the sweat off from his brow with his arm and readied his Heat Sword for another attack. He came at Brad with a slash from his sword using all the speed his Leo could muster.

[Bozz]

As Gene charged at Brad brad threw off his anti beam cloak and fired his Shoulder mounted beam cannon and Zaku bazooka at the quickly advancing Leo. He then used the knuckles in his hand to punch away the heat sword slash causing the built in knuckle on his off hand to smolder from the impact tho the deflected blow did take off his arm mounted machine gun.. "This has been a fun match. Now show me your true power" Brad said over the comm. This was why he loved these tournaments.

Meanwhile Verdandi watched her brother and another Leo locked in combat her brother had told her to watch these matches and learn. But she couldn't tear herself away from such an exciting match.

As Gene charged in with his Heat Sword in his right hand, Brad had fired off his Beam Cannon and Zaku Bazooka. He boost a little vertically to try and avoid the attack, but he came up a few feet short and both made a clean hit on his legs. Everything from the torso down had been blown off, but he was still flying towards him. Gene swung his sword only to have it punched out of his hand. The momentum from the punch spun him around, giving him the chanceto get the Leo in a headlock. It was a lot easier to grab on with that wolf head of his. With his left arm holding onto his head, he used his available right hand to draw out his Beam Saber and went to impale Brad through his torso. He couldn't get out of this one, not this time. "I'm going to end this now!"

[Bozz]

As Gene grappled with Brads head Brad unleashed both sets of vulcans on the grappling suit and the descending Beam saber. At the same time he caught the beam saber with his already scorched knuckle causing the sber to gut directly through the hand.. "Good this is a true fight" Brad laughed as he boosted strait up and used his thrusters to go into a high velocity barrel roll hopping to shake Gene's suit off.
