Battle Four (Construction Zone)

Dust jumped up into the air, the wirs hitting him as well as he did, thankfully the only did minor damage to his legs and he continued to thrust up until using his long gun he fired a shot towards the cockpit of the Gogg and did the same with his rockets.

[Vangran]

Walter stopped struggling against Darius. "And what would you have me do? I haven't even got the slightest clue as to where he is! And even since joining Unicorn, I don't even know where he was stationed! Everything about him is classified! There is no hope of me ever finding him! I have long since given up hope of finding him. And family? What family? They abandoned me long before I left there. I am soldier, so if working with you means I can forget, then FINE!"

Punching buttons furiously, he directed his bits to attack the Gogg, opening fire immediately.

Looking at Darius' Xeno, he said impatiently, "Well? What are you waiting for? Get moving!"

Darius had moved in front of Walter's GM, blocking Gene's shot. He became irritated again and yelled at Darius. "What are you doing?! Get out of the way!" Leo suddenly showed up and brought his maces down on the Gogg's head, smashing it into a small pile of scrap. Gene took a few steps back from the destroyed MS, thinking that this battle was over. "*pants*...Is it...is it over?" The Gogg then started spinning around like a top, flailing its arms around violently. Then everyone, even Walter, opened fire on the enemy mobile suit from all different directions. The resulting fire created a blast cloud, making it hard to see. Gene presumed that if it hadn't been destroyed by that attack at least it's arms would've been blown off at this point and proceeded to charge in with Beam Saber in hand, hoping to stab straight through the cockpit. "Just die, damn you!"

Explosions from multiple missiles and rockets shook and rocked through the Gogg's massive frame as several machinegun shots and sniper rifle shots threatened to penetrate its cockpit.

Because of the shock caused by the several explosions it absorbed, the rapid spin of the boss unit slowed slightly. Just enough for a mobile suit to get on top of it with out being thrown off by the wild spin force. A single beamsaber was plunged into the center of the enemy mobile suit and the spinning began to get even more erratic as it began to slow down before finally crashing into the only entrance in the room, coming to a complete stop and blocking everyone in.

To make matters worse, the pilot of the Gogg managed to initiate a self destruct sequence in time.

Leo looked at Darius mobile suit. "Now what do we do?" He asked, worry reflected in his voice. "I don't know yet, I'm thinking. We have to find some way to either get out of here or some way to avoid the blast." Darius said as the mono-eye from Bekki's Construction Zaku zeroed in on the large pool of cooling fluid that the Gogg was trying to make its way to earlier. "Hey, guys...I think I have an idea..."

The fighter activates his thrusters boosting him into the air, directing his unit towards the tank that the enemy Goog had been heading towards.

"If you want to live, get into that tank, it can protect us from the blast."

And with that, the fighters thrusters cut off, droping him into the fluid.

Outside the entrance to the city, the bassilisk lands, and unloads it's cargo of mobile suits that had been repaired on the way here. Leon moves his Fanton fowards.

"Ok team, we have to get inside and help our allies, lets go."

[Bozz]

without a second glance Verdandi recalled her Bits and followed the fighter into the tank. she really hoped that this would all be worth it and she could find a clue where this mr Cypher was and eventually her brother.

After Gene delivered the killing blow, the Gogg spun out of control and crashed into the factorys front entrance. It was blocked off so they couldn'tget out from that way. The downed enemy MS started trembling like it was about to explode. Gene figured that the pilot activated some self-destruct sequence and it would be a very big bang. He yelled at everyone as panic ran up his spine. "RUN!!!" He turned his Leo around and headed towards the coolant tank at the back of the factory and jumped in, waiting for the explosion to pass.

Walter jetted toward the tank as fast as his damaged suit could take him, his bits docking as he did so. He also picked up his long gun along the way and attached it to his back. He only hoped he made it in time.

Dust heard what the fighter said and agreed. He stomped down the thrusters hard and quickly moved to the coolant tank, carefully making his way into it before the explosion.

[Droid]

Bekki pushed both Darius and Leo into the coolant tank before tumbling in herself behind them. The Boss unit exploded in a massive blast of fire and shrapnel, some of the flaming parts falling into the coolant tank, the fire being extinguished as they sank to the bottom.

Cypher sent some of his bits forward to do some recon before the team moved in so that they had some idea of what they were in for. "It looks like the enemies guarding the city gates have been taken out. Looks like they had a tough fight. The front gate is blown out." He reported as his bits explored a bit more. "Hmm, it looks like all the UE units are either attacked and have been destroyed, or have gone off-line. I would say that it was the work of an EMP, but most of the city's systems are still online."

Cypher sent a recall order to the bits he sent to scout the area. "I think we're safe to proceed, but we should be careful. Most of the people there are scared and don't know that the UE units are offline and harmless."
