Cypher saw the rocket fired up at him. Looking towards the ground and back up a the projectile, he had to make a quick choice.
He was still pretty high up, but if he cut his thrusters, he could fall to avoid the rocket and risk some impact shock damage to his legs, slowing him slightly. Or he could take the rocket dead on and see how he fared afterwards.
His choice was a simple and quick one. Cutting his thrusters, Cypher began his rapid free fall to the ground while just narrowly avoiding the rocket as it barely skimmed the top of his head.
Bending his knees slightly, the impact with the ground was softened a bit. The landing was a small distance away from the front of the enemy but was still rather rough as the damage indicators on his display alerted him that his legs went from green status to yellow status and that his speed dropped by 15%.
Commanding his bits to start peppering the enemy's cockpit hatch with machine gun fire, Cypher quickly fires the last round in his Top Cannon at the enemy's remaining mounted rocket launcher before slamming one of his two bazooka ammo clips into the Top Cannon's chamber, hearing the clip lock into place and one of the rounds enter the barrel with a click.

Leon quickly looked down at his weapons that he had left. He had one shot left in his Magella top and a single shot in his rocket launcher. Quickly, Leon made a decission, raising the hands of his unit in surrender, then turns and walks out of the arena, the simulator resetting the dammage to base.

Cypher just stood there, slightly surprised at his opponent's sudden surrender.
Noticing him start to leave the arena, Cypher boosted after him and grabbed hold of his unit's shoulder, turning the pilot's unit to face his own before stuffing his GM's right hand into the Fanton's left hand.
"Excellent duel. Well fought." Cypher said as he release the handshake between the two mobile suits. "I kinda wished you didn't just quit, but I guess it was getting down to the wire for both of us. Anyway, I enjoyed dueling you and maybe someday we can do so again. Just no giving up next time."
With that, Cypher turned towards his own ready room, walking away from the Fanton and through the large doors that led to his body and to his MS transport truck.
