The Arena fighter sits, lounging in the cockpit of his Zaku 1 unit. He was waiting for his next oponent to arive. Picking his nails with the tip of a knife, he waits patiently.

"Integration at 100%. Weapons, green. Systems, green. Combat readiness check is complete, all systems are online and nominal. Proceeding."
Cypher emerged again from behind the massive arena doors, this time in another's unit, fighting on behalf of them. "This weapons layout is more suited for one who specializes in mid to long range combat. Adjusting systems accordingly." Cypher stated flatly as he lifted and pointed one of the twin Zaku machine guns at his unarmed opponent.

The Fighter quickly puts away his knife. He had been informed that this guy was the one who had defeated him before, and he was ready for a rematch. Quickly, he sits back in his seat, and closes up the hatch on his Unit. This time, he did not bother showing off with a few swipes of his knuckle guard, but immediatly activated his thrusters, taking off at top speed, in an attempt to circle his oponent.

"A familiar tactic. Searching for an effective counter. Processing...Result found." Cypher quickly docked the Zaku Machine Gun in his right hand and replaced it with one of the twin Iron Swords the Zaku had equipped. With a gun in his left and a sword in his right, Cypher attempted to cover all possible attack options with the currently active weapons.
Boosting forward to rush at the on-coming opponent with equal speed and agility, Cypher pulled back his sword arm and held it there, waiting till he was close enough before finally thrusting it forward in an attempt to stab the enemy MS. He quickly followed this attack up with a short burst to the left in an attempt to get to the rear-right side of the hostile Zaku.

The Figher grins. That was just the reaction he has been hoping for. When his oponent thrusts the sword at him, he aims his fist at the arm holding the sword, deflecting the sword to his shoulder armor. As his oponent moves, he activates his thrusters as well, sending him into the air.

Cyphers arm was struck during the fake and the armor on his right arm suffered some cosmetic damage in the form of a few small dents.
Quickly recovering from the blow, Cypher looked up and glared at his opponent in the only way a MS could, the mono-eye flashed brighter for a moment. He pointed his machine gun up at the enemy's left elbow joint and fired at it with both a quick burst from his machine gun and a short burst of fire from his built-in Vulcans. This was an attempt to disable the opposing Zaku's left arm while he boosted around to make sure we was behind the enemy when he landed.

The fighter grins, and uses his shield to block the majority of the shots to the arm. Unfortunatly, most of the shots make it through, causing some minor dammage. While still in the air, he fires up the thrusters to change the vector of his fall and spin him around, bringing his foot down towards the enemy unit. A repeat of last time, but this time with a plan.

Cypher knew this attack. He beat it before. But he knew the same thing wouldn't work twice. So instead of grabbing at the enemy's foot, Cypher decided to use the opponent's downward thrust, coupled by gravity, against him.
Pointing the shoulder-mounted rocket launcher up at the falling Zaku, Cypher fired a single rocket at the exposed underside of the enemy before ducking low and boosting forward a short distance, spinning his mobile suit around to face the enemy as he did so.

Fighter instantly decides to skip part one of the counter, and go streight to part to, quickly setting his thrusters to cause him to spin in mid air. This brought up anoher part of the mobile suit into direct line with the Rocket, the torso, but the movement lessened the dammage done by the rocket to the Torso. Quickly the fighter landed his unit, and faced his oponent again. The fighter reached up, and flicked a rarely used switch in his cockpit, activating his head vulcans.

Cypher, slightly disappointed, but not surprised that his attack did not work completely, raised his sword and flipped the blade around in his hand before throwing it at the enemy, the sword flipping through the air as it flew closer to the opposing Zaku. However, Cypher didn't just stop at that. Undocking the other machine gun he docked earlier, Cypher performed a quick, tight, orbital boost around his opponent while popping off a few shots from both the machine guns as well as from his own head mounted Vulcans.

The fighter blocks the sword with this shield, only to take the attacks from the machine guns and vulcans. Grinning, the fighter spins around, and pushes his mobile suit to it's fastest speed, thrusters at full power. Taking aim with his vulcans, though he had little skill with them, he shot at his oponent, while moving directly at the other Zaku.

Cypher's attack did pretty much what he wanted it to do. Stick into the enemy and inevitably throw it off balance. That adjustment in balance should slow down the enemy enough for Cypher to have a little more time to react.
Crouching low, Cypher allowed the enemy's rounds to impact, creating little craters in his armor. Locking the systems in his left arm, Cypher waited for the enemy to be close enough before suddenly springing up in his face and swinging his left arm like a club in an attempt to back hand his opponent and knock him to the ground.

The Fighter brings up his own fist, causing it to colide with the swung arm, armored fist against arm, and swings his other fist at his oponent's torso.

If Cypher could grin, he would be doing so ear to ear right now. His opponent did exactly what Cypher was banking on him doing.
Quickly dropping his weapon, Cypher's right hand shot out and caught hold of the punch the enemy Zaku was attempting to land. Without missing a beat, Cypher dropped the other machine gun in his left hand and shot that out towards what would be a mobile suit's neck in an attempt to clutch it.
His hope would be that this action would be so swift and sudden that it would catch the opponent off guard and allow Cypher to lift him into the air before slamming him roughly and violently into the ground.

The fighter grins, as, the moment his oponent grabs his arm, he activates his thrusters, sending him up and over the oponent Zaku, pulling the arm with him. If the Zaku did not let go, it would be pulled with him, and in a bad way.
